Description
Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass fish sculpture, made on the island of
Murano, near Venice, Italy, by the
Artistica Murano CCC glassworks. This exact design, in the form of a lamp, can be found online with a label that reads
"Artistica Murano, CCC". Reference: [
click here]. In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in blue glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian
sommerso technique.
Size
Measures approx 6.5 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at widest point.
Condition
Has a small hard to see nibble to the back fin, shown in final picture, and a couple of small surface scratches.
