LABELLED Oball Murano Alabastro Pink & White Glass Clam Bowl/Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful small Venetian glass biomorphic clam shaped sculpture bowl with original opalescent white pearl insert, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by Oball, and still bears the original factory label (quite worn). In a stunning combination of opaque pink and white glass, known as alabastro glass. This piece is unusual in that it has 2 "bases", and can be positioned vertically or at an angle (see pictures).

Size

Measures approx 2.75 inches tall (when upright) by 4.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a slight manufacturing dimple to the rim, shown in final picture.
