Bucella Cristalli Murano Faceted Blue & Amber Sommerso Glass Vase

Description

Here is a Venetian glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, and sold by Bucella Cristalli. In a combination of blue glass cased in a band of amber glass, which is further encased in an angular block of clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique. Still bears the original label, which reads "Bucella Cristalli Murano, Made in Italy". Also has the Vetri Murano (VM) consortium label, with the number code "19" that was assigned to Bucella Cristalli. Bucella was a retailer who also had a grinding and polishing business of "rough" pieces supplied by other factories. Comes with the original box, and certificate of authenticity.
