Ekenas Blue + Green Glass Vase - John-Orwar Lake

Description

A stunning Scandinavian 1960's/70's blue + green cased glass vase with bubble effect. Made by Ekenas of Sweden, and designed by John-Orwar Lake, unsigned. Similar items are shown in the book "Scandinavian Glass - Fire & Sea" by Leslie Pina, pages 94 - 96.

Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flowerheads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Size

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
