Description

A stunning Scandinavian clear glass bird paperweight, filled with gold leaf and a controlled air bubble pattern. Pattern number M-250, designed by Josef Marcolin, and named "Pippi" (birdie) in the product catalogues. Made by FM Konstglas of Ronneby, Sweden, unmarked except for a worn label which reads "Äkta Guld, 24 karat". "Äkta guld" = "real gold" or "pure gold".

Size

Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
