Riihimaki #1963 Riihimaen Red Glass 'Carmen' Candlestick / Vase

Description

A stunning Scandinavian orangey red & clear cased glass 'Carmen' candlestick holder or vase. Designed for multi use and listed as both in the catalogue, just turn upside down for alternate use. Made by Riihimaki (also known as Riihimaen Lasi Oy) of Finland in the 1970's, and designed by Tamara Aladin, design number 1963. Shown in the book "Glass from Riihimaki, Riihimaen Lasi Oy 1910 - 1990" by the Finnish Glass Museum, page 190.

Measures approx 9.75 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.
