Lindshammar / Alsterbro Swedish Caramel Hooped Glass Vase

Description

A beautiful Scandinavian 1970's caramel 'hooped' glass vase with orange yellow rim and white interior casing.  Made in Sweden in the 1960's, unmarked. An interesting design, this vase can be found with Lindshammar or Alsterbro labels. It was most likely designed by Gunnar Ander, who was chief designer at both factories in the 1960's, when they had the same owner. When the Alsterbro factory closed, all production was then moved to Lindshammar. Labelled examples: [Lindshammar] [Alsterbro]. A bit of an odd colourway, but as intended, I have had several different Lindshammar designs in this same colour with the tinted orange rim.

Size

Measures approx 7.5 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, just a small nick to the base rim, shown in final picture.
