Isle of Wight Studio / Harris 'Azurene Pink' Glass Globe Vase

Description

A beautiful small pink glass 'globe' vase with gold and silver leaf inclusions, designed by Michael Harris in collaboration with William Walker in 1978, for his renowned British glassworks Isle of Wight Studio, part of the Azurene pattern range. Bears the factory label to the base.

Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flower heads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Size

Measures approx. 2.5 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
