Wedgwood Speckled Pink Glass Cat RSW406 or SG440 - Marked

Description

A stunning British pink speckled glass paperweight sculpture of a cat. Made by Wedgwood, marked to base and labelled. There were two different cat designs made by Wedgwood, and two different pattern numbers documented (pattern number RSW406 (later SG406) and SG440). Unfortunately I haven't been able to find anywhere that links each cat to the relevant pattern number. From the range of animals + plants designed by Ronald Stennett-Willson and Paul Miller in the 1970's.

Size

Measures approx 4.5 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
