Okra? Black & Purple Iridescent Glass Vintage English Perfume Bottle

  • Product Number: WS15048
Product Number: WS15048

 Sold / Reference

Description

A beautiful black and purple (I think) glass perfume / scent bottle with iridescent finish. Hard to judge the colours accurately due to the iridescence. No marks or labels, but I've been advised by one person that this was most likely made by Okra. Okra Glass was founded in 1979 by Richard Golding, in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, England. I found several perfume bottles on Worthpoint in a very similar pattern with Okra labels, the pattern was named "Merlin's Web". However I've since been advised by another ebayer that this is not by Okra. More research is therefore needed, but in the meantime, please be aware that the origin is uncertain for now.

Please note: the plastic stand is for display purposes only and is not included.

Size

Measures approx 4.5 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a couple of nicks to the rim, shown in final pictures.
