Description

A stunning Victorian 1890's British glass double "thorn" vase. Consists of two tubular opalescent yellow green glass flower holders with pulled out thorns and connecting "branches". A similar item is shown in the book Victorian Decorative Glass by Mervyn Gulliver, page 98. Most likely made by John Walsh Walsh from Birmingham, England. Made in vaseline/uranium glass, which glows bright green in UV light.

Size

Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of nicks to the thorns, very comon with these items and too small to photograph.
