Description

Here is a magnificent large and very heavy (2.2 kilos unpacked) Czech glass sculpture vase. Made by the Chřibská glassworks, pattern number 316/1/31. Shown in a 1970's Chřibská catalogue, see last image (with kind permission, and copyright of Jindřich Pařík www.CzechGlassGuide.cz). Most likely designed by Josef Hospodka. In a stunning combination of pink and blue glass encased in clear glass, with a lovely thick opalescent opaque white rim.

Size

Measures approx 12.5 inches tall by 7 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
