Chřibská #316 Czech Vintage Purple & White Glass Ashtray Bowl

Description

Here is a magnificent, heavy Czech glass sculpture bowl / ashtray. Made by the Chřibská glassworks, pattern range 316. Most likely designed by Josef Hospodka. In a stunning combination of dark purple glass encased in clear glass, with a lovely thick opalescent opaque white rim.

Size

Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 11.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a minor manufacturing flaw to one of the side lobes, shown in final picture, and a couple of tiny surface scratches, plus age related base wear.
