Mstisov Czech Glass Rhapsody Bowl by Frantisek Zemek

Description

A stunning Czech glass biomorphic bowl/ashtray. Made by the Mstisov glassworks, and designed by Frantisek Zemek in the 1950's/60's, part of his 'Rhapsody' range. Similar items are shown in the book "Hi Sklo Lo Sklo" by Mark Hill, pages 66 + 67.

Size

Measures approx 2.5 inches tall by 8.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny nick to the base rim, shown in final picture.
