Ernst Steinwald / Franz Tomschick Czech Red Spatter Glass Vase

Description

A superb 1930's Czech/Bohemian bright red art deco style blown glass vase with white & black spatter glass base. This design was for a long time attributed to Kralik, but research by others has recently revealed that it was apparently made by the Ernst Steinwald glassworks, up until 1938 when production was moved to the Franz Tomschick glassworks. Reference: [click here]. Marked to base, probably with some variant of "Czechoslovakia", but I can't make it out.

Measures approx 8 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of nicks to the rim, shown in final pictures.
