Pair of Welz Bohemian Lemon Yellow & White Spatter Glass Vases

Description

A pair of 1890's Bohemian variegated lemon yellow + white blown glass vases, made using a technique known as "spatter" or "splatter" glass, with hand painted enamelled decoration. Most likely made by the Franz Welz factory. Reference: [click here] and [here].

Size

Measure approx 6.25 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny nick to the rim of one vase, shown in final picture. Also, the painted decoration is quite worn in places, from many years of cleaning.
