Czech / Bohemian 1930's Red & Blue Tango Glass Vase / Jug

Description

A superb 1930's Czech/Bohemian red blown glass vase in the style of a jug, with applied blue glass rim and handle decoration. Probably by Welz or Kralik. Known as "Mono-coloured" or "Tango" glass, this technique was developed by Loetz around 1914.

Size

Measures approx 5 inches tall by 4.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of tiny extra blobs of glass to one side, a minor flaw from the manufacturing process, shown in final picture. Barely noticeable unless the light catches them just right, see video in listing.
