Gozo Maltese Glass 'Springtime' Vase - Signed + Labelled

Description

A wonderful Maltese green & cream organic glass vase in the 'Springtime' pattern, made by Gozo Glass on the island of Gozo, sister island to Malta. Signed to base, and still bears the factory label.

Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flowerheads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Size

Measures approx 3.25 inches tall by 3.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a manufacturing flaw or tooling mark to one side of the top rim, and the remains of the rough broken pontil mark to the base (common for blown glass), see pics.
