Walther & Söhne Art Deco Pink Glass 'Nymphen' Mermaid Comport

Description

A wonderful art deco frosted pink glass mermaid comport centrepiece bowl.  Made by German company Auguste Walther & Söhne in the 1930's, part of their 'Nymphen' (nymphs) pattern, and is featured in their 1934 product catalogue.

Size

Measures approx 7 inches tall by 9.5 inches in diameter at widest point when assembled.

Condition

The base has a few nicks to the inside base rim, and the bowl peg section which slots into the base, also has a couple of nicks, but none of these are visible when on display. All shown in final pictures.
