Description

A wonderful Victorian 1890's opaque custard glass vase, with frilled rim and applied amber and pink acorn and leaf decoration. Small amounts of uranium in the glass cause it to glow bright green in UV light. Custard glass was made by several Victorian era glass factories, including Stevens & Williams and Boulton & Mills from the Stourbridge area of England, and Czech/Bohemian maker Harrach.

Size

Measures approx 6 inches tall by 4.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of tiny nibbles to the applied "feet", shown in final picture.
