Pair of Victorian Pink & White Glass Rose Bowls

Description

A wonderful pair of 1890's Victorian pink + white glass rose bowls. Rough pontil marks to bases.

Size

Measure approx 2.25 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, but the "broken" pontil mark on the base of one of them is deeper that you would normally expect, and has been filled in with some sort of black substance. This can only be seen when turned upside down, there is no sign of it when looking inside the bowl from the top. I can only assume this was done during the manufacturing process. The same vase also has a manufacturing air bubble in the glass. Please see final pictures.
