Chinese Murano Style Green & Blue Sommerso Glass Bubble Paperweight

Description

Here is a wonderful green, blue and clear glass paperweight with centre air bubble. Easily mistaken for Murano glass, indeed some sellers would like you to believe as such, in hopes of achieving a higher price, but this piece was actually made in China, probably in the last 10 - 20 years. Made using the Venetian developed sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

No chips or cracks, just a couple of small surface scratches, shown in final pictures.
