Chinese Murano Style Purple & Amber Sommerso Glass Teardrop Paperweight

Here is a wonderful purple, amber and clear glass teardrop shaped paperweight. Easily mistaken for Murano glass, indeed some sellers would like you to believe as such, in hopes of achieving a higher price, but this piece was actually made in China, probably in the last 10 years. Made using the Venetian developed sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 5 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a tiny nick to the base rim, shown in final picture, and a couple of small surface scratches.
