Victorian Vaseline / Uranium Opalescent Pink & Green Glass Bowl

Description

A stunning Victorian 1890's glass footed bowl or posy vase with crimped rim. Made in vaseline/uranium yellow green glass, which glows bright green in UV light. Also has a pink and white opalescent rim. Most likely made by one of the British glass factories from the Stourbridge area of England, such as John Walsh Walsh, Richardson or Thomas Webb.

Size

Measures approx 4.25 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a chip to the base rim, and a manufacturing flaw where the border of the pink glass has misaligned during production. All shown in final pictures.
