Cris-Daum Murano Style Blue Glass Vintage Sculpture Bowl

Description

Here is a magnificent 1950/60's Murano style freeform blue glass sculpture bowl. Although very Murano in style, at the time of writing I currently have another piece from this range listed, that bears a very worn foil label which reads "Cris-Daum". Presumably this is short for Cristallerie Daum, which is the name the renowned French glass maker Daum has been operating under since 1962. However these seem very different from their normal work, and I have been unable to find any information online about this label or this design. My knowledge of Daum glass is very limited, so please make your own judgement about this unusual item.

Measures approx 8.5 inches tall by 4.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a nibble to the base rim edge, shown in final picture.
