Brama Pair of Art Deco Chrome Plated Nude Lady Candlesticks

Description

A wonderful pair of 1930's/40's art deco chrome plated dancing nude lady candlesticks. I'm not sure what the base metal is. Made by Brama, which was the trading name or brand used by the metal plating wares company Abrahams & Co of Birmingham, that eventually bought out the Davidson glassworks. Similar items are shown in one of their catalogues, described as "figure candlesticks". The catalogue is not dated, but based on the contents, the date is estimated as circa 1935.

Measure approx 7.5 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, minimal age wear.
