Description
A wonderful pair of 1930's/40's
art deco
chrome plated dancing nude lady candlesticks. I'm not sure what the base metal is. Made by
Brama
, which was the trading name or brand used by the metal plating wares company
Abrahams & Co
of Birmingham, that eventually bought out the
Davidson
glassworks. Similar items are shown in one of their catalogues, described as
"figure candlesticks"
. The catalogue is not dated, but based on the contents, the date is estimated as circa 1935.
Size
Measure approx 7.5 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.
Condition
Excellent condition, minimal age wear.
