Barovier & Toso 'Graffati' Murano Gold Leaf Purple Glass Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl/ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This piece was made by Barovier & Toso, and designed by the renowned Italian designer Ercole Barovier. This piece is from the 'Graffati' range. In a stunning combination of clear cased glass with a dark purple/plum coloured spiralling pattern, and loads of gold leaf inclusions encased in the glass.

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 6.5 inches in diameter at widest point.
