Chinese Murano Style Purple & Blue Sommerso Glass Bowl

Here is a wonderful large and heavy (1.2 kg unpacked) purple, blue and clear glass bowl or candle holder with controlled bubble effect. Easily mistaken for Murano glass, indeed some sellers would like you to believe as such, but this beautiful, high quality, impressive piece was actually made in China. This design originally surfaced as a range of vases, bowls and candle holders, with the brand name "Star", by designer Julien Macdonald, and was sold in Debenhams department stores in the UK.

Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 4.75 inches in diameter at widest point.
