Fifth Avenue Crystal Chinese Blue & Green Sommerso Glass Vase - Labelled

Description

A multi-layered blue and clear glass vase with applied thick green strapping on the sides. Made in the sommerso technique. Easily mistaken for Murano glass, indeed some sellers would like you to believe as such, but this was actually made in China. This design and many like it were sold by Fifth Avenue Crystal, a USA retailer / importer. Also imported to other parts of the world such as the UK, by other importers. This example still bears the import label which reads "Fifth Avenue Crystal, Made in China". The design can be found in a variety of colours, on the Alibaba trade site, and other retail sites such as Amazon.

Measures approx 8 inches tall by 5.25 inches in diameter at widest point.
