Aureliano Toso / Dino Martens #5224 Mezza Filigrana Glass Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950's Venetian glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by Aureliano Toso and designed by Dino Martens. The design is known as Mezza Filigrana. Decorated with alternating stripes of turquoise blue and white Filigree strands and copper aventurine. This vase is shown in the book Dino Martens, Muranese Glass Designer by Marc Heiremans, page 165, where it is identified as model number 5224.

Measures approx 5 inches tall by 4.25 inches in diameter at widest point.
