Description

A 1950/60's Venetian glass 'geode' bowl/dish with dimpled design, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Attributed to Galliano Ferro, items with this large dimple effect have been seen with labels [Link]. In a combination of orangey red glass cased in a band of uranium yellow glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the Venetian sommerso technique. Glows bright green in UV light.

Size

Measures approx 2.5 inches tall by 5.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of small nicks to the rim, shown in final pictures.
