Salviati Murano / Venetian Zanfirico & Aventurine Blue Glass Plate

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass plate/dish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with alternating stripes of white zanfirico lattice filigree trimmed in copper aventurine, and blue twisted ribbons. Made by Salviati, similar items are shown in the book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 139.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
