Murano Red & White Glass Zanfirico & Gold Leaf Basket Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950's/60's Venetian glass basket shaped bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with alternating stripes of white zanfirico lattice filigree and red ribbons, with applied clear glass ribbon decoration and base filled with gold leaf inclusions.

Measures approx 5.25 inches tall by 3.75 inches in diameter at widest point.
