Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass miniature vase or possibly an egg cup, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with stripes of white zanfirico lattice filigree trimmed in copper aventurine, with applied clear glass prunts. Made by Salviati, similar items are shown in the book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 139.

Size

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 2 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
