Salviati Murano Zanfirico & Aventurine Yellow & Pink Glass Finger Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass finger bowl/dish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with stripes of white and yellow zanfirico lattice filigree, pink ribbons and copper aventurine. Made by Salviati, similar items are shown in the book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 139.

Size

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a tiny blob of extra glass to one lower corner, from the manufacturing process, shown in final picture.
