Murano Green & Amber Sommerso Glass Vintage Sculpture Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian organic glass sculptural vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy.  In a stunning combination of green glass encased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the Venetian developed sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 8.75 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. The very ends of the pulled sections are a little rough from where they were pulled and snipped with tools during the manufacturing process, but this is perfectly normal and not damage.
