Murano / Venetian Red & Amber Sommerso Cased Glass Vase

Description

A Venetian organic glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of red glass cased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 8.25 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a nibble or flaw to the base, just inside the rim, shown in final picture, and some minor internal staining from use.
