LARGE Murano Pink & Amber Sommerso Glass 1960's Bowl

Description

Here is a magnificent, large and heavy (1.3kg unpacked) 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass sculpture bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of pink glass cased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the Venetian developed sommerso technique.

Measures approx 3.25 inches tall by 10.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of surface scratches.
