Murano Red, Amber & Blue Sommerso Glass Cylinder Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of orangey red glass cased in a band of amber glass, which is further encased in pale blue glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 6 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of tiny fleabites to the rim, shown in final picture.
