Murano/Venetian Red & Amber Sommerso Glass Jug/Vase

Description

A tall Venetian glass stem vase in the style of a jug, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of orangey red glass cased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 12 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of tiny fleabites to the base rim, shown in final picture.
