Murano Red & Uranium Green Sommerso Glass Sculpture Bowl

Description

A Venetian large and heavy (1.9 kilos unpacked) organic glass sculpture bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of orangey red glass cased in uranium green glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique. Glows bright green in UV light.

Size

Measures approx 7 inches tall by 15 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of tiny black specks from the manufacturing process, and a couple of tiny scratches to the underside, all shown in final pictures.
