Cristallo Venezia Murano Blue & Amber Sommerso Glass Vintage Bowl

Description

A Venetian organic glass sculpture bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Most likely made by the Cristallo Venezia CCC glassworks. Very similar pieces with the same star shaped base can be found online with labels that read "Cristallo Venezia, CCC". In a stunning combination of blue glass encased in amber glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 5.75 inches tall by 10 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, just a couple of tiny fleabites to the base rim edge, and one tiny nick to one side just above the base rim, all shown in final pictures.
