Arte Nuova Murano Blue & Amber Sommerso Glass Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by Arte Nuova in the 1950's/60's, unmarked, but this design can be found online with a label which reads "Arte Nuova Murano, Pustetto & Zanetti, Made in Italy". In a stunning combination of blue glass cased in a band of amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 1.5 inches tall by 4.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a few light surface scratches.
