Murano Blue & Green Venetian Glass Duck Sculpture - Labelled

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass duck sculpture, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Still bears the blue and silver "Rooster" Murano label, with the factory code "AL", (factory unknown for now). In a stunning combination of blue and green glass encased in clear glass.

Size

Measures approx 11.5 inches tall by 4.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just some roughness to the birds "bottom", where it would have been attached to the blowing pipe, before being removed and then having the base section added. Shown in final picture.
