LABELLED Oball Murano Blue & Pink Sommerso Glass Fish Sculpture

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass fish sculpture. Made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, by the Oball glassworks. Still bears the original factory label (worn). In a stunning combination of blue and pink glass encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 5.75 inches tall by 4.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of minor manufacturing flaws - small dimpled lines near the base on one side, shown in final picture. Also a couple of small, light surface scratches, too minor to show up on camera, and only mentioned for accuracy.
