Description

This is a magnificent Venetian purple & white marbled glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. It was produced by Carlo Moretti, and similar items are shown in the excellent book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 49.

Size

Measures approx 2.75 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of small, faint surface scratches.
