Description

This is a magnificent Venetian purple & white marbled glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. It was produced by Carlo Moretti, and similar items are shown in the excellent book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 49. Still bears the original factory label, along with another label on the base (probably a pattern number).

Size

Measures approx 7.25 inches tall by 3.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny fleabite nick to the rim, shown in final picture.
