Barbini Murano Amber & Clear Bubble Glass Biomorphic Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian biomorphic glass ashtray bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by Barbini, no marks or labels, but bowls from this range can be found online with their factory label. In fact at the time of listing this, I have another listed separately, that still has the label. In a stunning combination of amber glass encased in clear glass, with a controlled bubble effect known as 'a bolle'.

Size

Measures approx 2.25 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of surface scratches to the underneath side, plus quite a lot of age related base wear, all shown in final pictures.
