Barovier & Toso 'Graffito' Style Murano Gold Leaf Green Glass Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian shell shaped glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This piece was made by Barovier & Toso, and possibly designed by the renowned Italian designer Ercole Barovier. Very similar to items from the 'Graffito' range, but without the feathered effect. In a stunning combination of clear cased glass with a green swirling pattern, and lots of gold leaf inclusions encased in the glass. Still bears the original retailer label, which reads "Murano Glass, Artistic Leather Goods, Honey Lane, Sorrento - T.783505".

Measures approx 2.25 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
