LABELLED Archimede Seguso Polveri Gold Leaf Glass Shell Bowl

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian sculptural glass shell bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made in pink glass filled with gold leaf inclusions. This bowl was made by Archimede Seguso, using their polveri technique, and still bears the scalloped Murano Glass label on the base (worn), known to have been used exclusively by the Archimede Seguso factory during the 1950's and possibly earlier.

Measures approx 1.25 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
